BioSouth kicks off its first residential training course in microbial fermentation scale-up and downstream processing
This week BioSouth welcomed a group of over a dozen of Singapore’s top scientists to its new production and training facility in Christchurch for a two week residential training course.
Over the length of the course the scientists will learn about how to overcome the hurdles of taking a biological product from the benchtop to successfully scaling up and producing at scale, including the challenges of downstream processing.
With its new production facility in Christchurch – one of the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere – BioSouth is committed not just to contract manufacturing for its clients around the world, but also to share its knowledge and experience with others as they look to develop biomanufacturing at scale.
