Microorganisms produced at scale can be used to clean up polluted sites from industry to agriculture. Already microorganisms are dosed into effluent treatment ponds to aid remediation but this is only the start.
The production and utilisation of specific microorganisms can instead be employed to deal with some of the more challenging environmental contamination issues including the effective removal of heavy metals and other contaminants.
