BioSouth joins the speaker panel at the Riddet Institute’s international food conference in Queenstown

BioSouth was proud to sponsor the Riddet Institute’s food conference in Queenstown held this month, an event that featured speakers and delegates from around the world.

The 2023 Food Structures, Digestion and Health international conference was the seventh in as series co-hosted by the Riddet Institute in conjunction with Australia’s CSIRO.

For BioSouth’s Professor Travis Glare it was an opportunity to brief participants on the work that the company is already doing in Australasia providing assistance in scale-up services for startups in the synthetic protein space. Professor Glare shared with participants some of the common pitfalls including the challenges of working with methanol fermentation at scale.
